What is the Curl Lift?

The Curl Lift is a very popular and simple cosmetic procedure invented by Dr. Pierre Fournier from France and is a wonderful alternative to the face lift.

It is a 30 minute procedure performed in doctor's office under local anesthesia with less potential complications and less down time than face lift (24 hours). The best candidates for the curl lift are the middle aged patients with mild to moderate face aging damage who are not ready to go under the knife. This procedure will allow them to postpone major face rejuvenation procedure. The technique involves the placement of threads under the skin using a specially designed surgical needle. This procedure is used to smooth and tight brows, mid-face, low-face and neck areas. Threads can easily be changed, removed or added. What is Lipo-Filling?

THE ASSOCIATION OF ESTHETIC MESOTHERAPY COSMETIC MESOTHERAPY TOUR Nice, France - June 23-25, 2006 3 Day Certificate Training in Cosmetic Mesotherapy Association of Esthetic Mesotherapy and Medicine

The first annual congress of the AMME was held in June, 2005 in Biarritz, France and was a tremendous success. One hundred and fifty doctors from thirty countries were in attendance and subsequently AMME chapters have been formed in the US, Spain, Korea and Tunisia. For the second annual meeting to be held June 23-25 in Nice, the AMME has enlisted Docere Medical to create an exclusive tour in order to facilitate learning for international English speaking participants.

Day one is a highly-structured, introductory course consisting of lecture, demonstration, and hands-on practice. Covered are the concepts, techniques, and protocols of French cosmetic mesotherapy followed by demonstration and then hands-on participation. This day-long course is designed to give the participant a foundation which will facilitate rapid absorption of the teachings of the AMME.

Days two and three consist of participation in the second annual congress of the AMME. This meeting consists entirely of hands-on workshops in small groups with simultaneous English translation provided by French-speaking American physicians highly experienced in mesotherapy. Workshops will include all of the cosmetic mesotherapy protocols plus soft tissue fillers, mesobotox, thermogenic masks, laser, IPL, pelling, aptos threads, and fat augmentation among others procedures. Workshops are one to two hours duration, are conducted in small groups, and consist of a brief oral introduction followed by demonstration and when appropriate, hands-on participation.

French Society of Mesotherapy 4th National Congress 2nd - 3rd December 2006 - Paris, France The French Society of Mesotherapy is the largest and oldest mesotherapy association in the world and its teaching faculty’s combined experience in mesotherapy totals over three hundred years. Each year the SFM holds its two day scientific meeting in Paris, France. Day one of the meeting consists of the presentation of this year’s published scientific papers for which simultaneous translation into English is provided. Day two of the meeting is devoted entirely to hands-on workshops in small groups where participants observe mesotherapy procedures performed by the teaching staff of the SFM and then practice these techniques on models. The attendance is projected at 600 participants from all over the world. The SFM is compassionate in their delivery of patient care and in their desire to bring their combined experience to the world in the spirit of the open exchange of scientific knowledge. The 4th Congress of the French Society of Mesotherapy will look into all of the indications in Mesotherapy, both through formal plenary presentations and hands-on workshops. A large number of studies will be presented about caring for pain, whether traumatological, rhumatological, neurological or of other origin. They are the culmination of extensive research performed in the various schools where the topic is taught. Other fields in Mesotherapy will also be elaborated upon, from immunological or vascular pathologies to aesthetic Mesotherapy. The hands-on workshops will be more varied, offering the full range of related Mesotherapy treatments, with extended hours. The presentations will be delivered during sessions with a chairman and moderator from the same university school, so as to give more room to discussion. Mesotherapy continues to make huge strides in hospitals and universities, thanks to our academic leaders. I would like to extend my warm thanks to them for their unwavering support and for having agreed, once again, to honour us with their presence. Nonetheless, the road ahead is a long one, and the utmost scientific discipline will be required if we are to convince the last sceptics.
